Someone help me pick out an oil catch can for my SS.

I want to buy the best OCC for my L99. we just installed a Maggie supercharger and now I want to have some oil blow-by protection.

my stock intake had quite a bit of oil residue inside which bothers me. what's even worse, all that oil inside my stock intake and my car only has like 600 miles.

please give me some links on what OCC you think is best...

Theyre easy to find, the tricky part is how to mount it I dont think anyone is making one specifically for the 2010 camaro.

But you can just get any catch can an custom fit it.

There is only 1 real one that is OEM that Lingenfelter offers.

We use them on all of our 427 and large SC builds.

There's a very good one posted in the "how-to" guide for a CC. It's the RevXtreme CC. It's got a good seperation design (not just a overflow bottle) that comes with a bracket for mounting it to your Camaro. It also has a quart size bottle and easy draining from the bottom. I think they were $89 for the SS version, more if you wanted colors.

i bought the one from elite engineering and sadly, it doesnt fit. we have too much clutter on the passenger side of the engine for it to mount where it mounts on the corvette. ill be working with them to help find a solution.

I may have to go with the one Robert@gforce had the link for. Pricey but I like the option of disassembly. Just sent them an email asking about the bracket for the Camaro. Once I get some more info I let you peeps know and when I order it and install it.

I have been working with Elite Engineering on an elegant mounting solution and I should have a prototype mount soon. I'll keep you guys posted on the progress. It would be great to get this catch can working for the Camaro as it is very well made and designed. Maybe I can convince them to run a group buy on it to get the price down a bit once we have the install all figured out. I'll keep you guys posted.

When are you leaving? I got them my design last night on the mount and they are getting their materials together to machine the two pieces. Steve from Elite says that it shouldnt take long for him to get a prototype together and out to me.
