REAR TRUNK PANEL SS EMBLEM 2010
I bought one and the angle is not correct and the angle is not centered with the slight V shape of the trunk.
I am doing a blackout vinyl and would like to lose the bowtie. Any members done one recently with a quality part?

I ran into the same issue with an aftermarket piece, the angle just looked off. Ended up going with a GM one and it lined up way better. Might be worth tracking down an OEM or a higher-end repro if you want it to sit right with the V.

Thanks for the help.
I am doing the retro SS emblems front and rear with the rear blackout. The trunk is going to be repainted because of the paint damage under the stock spoiler I found while doing a GM ducktail spoiler swap. The foot print of the old spoiler is larger and I think not enough two sided tape was used causing vibration. I am going to return the Anvil purchase and I am thinking about the loose SS emblems on the vinyl wrap or welding the holes and then wraping. The front emblem looks great. The whole rear thing is frustrating. |
