looks like a good design that it grabs air from below rather than the heat soaked engine bay.

any photos if the area where the filter sits? any issues with water getting sucked in?

Post more photos and prices

I'm not affiliated with Injen and don't sell 'em or anything. As a matter of fact, I was emailing Injen about their v6 version and they happened to send the info on the SS kit as well, so I figured I'd pass it on.

They are running $388.95 on AutoAnything and right now they are showing: "Ships between 02/05/2010 - 02/09/2010"

Injen is bigger in the Import community. Not bad stuff.

I'm not sold with what appears to be a smaller diameter intake tube nor the price point.

Several proven ones out at a better price.

Unless of course there's dyno results showing more than 16-18hp gains.

It looks like a nice kit to me. I like that they give you a large windshield fluid botlle so that you dont need to refill it all the time!!

The price is right also! I have a ton of these coming to the warehouse...

I don't know anything about american cars but every import I've owned I have installed Injen CAI and they make the car sound amazing.

The fit and finish are perfect, I was planning on going with AirRaid when my camaro comes in but Injen will get my business on this one.

If that tube is metal then it is heat soaked and baking the air, esp at low speed and idle so the whole purpose of colder denser air is lost.

GM spent a ton of money coming up with composite intake manifold design for a good reason.

It looks like it's touching the radiator hose.
