I actually would have said 4th gen, before I owned a 5th gen. Dunno why, but lately I've seen alot of 4th gens around, and some really well kept ones! (I wish I had pictures of the IBM one I saw last weekend... beautiful)

So instead I chose 2nd gen, which isn't really fair, because I'd still take one over any car out there... no matter the year!

I honestly can't decide. Some of the mid 70's second gens and the early third gens were horrible. But I love the early and late second gens, and the mid to later 3rd gens. So it's hard to pick an entire generation. I guess I'll go with 3rd gen being my least favorite.

4th gen. The only ones I ever liked were the 35th anniversary 4th gens.

3rd gen. The 2nd gen with split bumpers are my favorite, and it's toss up between the 3rd and 4th for worst. I give the nod to the 3rd gens due to the Berlinetta, lol.

When I reflect on the 1984 Camaro Berlinetta 3rd Gen I owned "Welcome aboard Starship Camaro" (the ad really said that) with all those buttons and 150hp engine I'm really happy with my 5th gen..
