First it helps to take the wheels off but I was able to take the four fenderwell screws out with just the torx socket hand held (they were hand tight). Pull out on the front of the rocker panel with a slight rocking motion and the four or so plastic clips will pull out, the front are angle kinda down a little. Next, pull the rear clips out. Now you should have the 15 or so center clips still attached. They are in slotted channels and the best I found is to beat it backwards with your fist towards the rear of the car. That is, at the front fender well just slightly smack the rocker towards the rear and it will slide back freeing the clips. After the rocker comes off, then you can just take a pair of needle nose and with a slight pulling pressure on the clips, just compress the points with the pliers and they will come right out. I only slightly broke 1 or 2 clips. Hope this helps.
