L99 Magnaflow Competition Series Axle Back

Can anyone have this on a L99 please tell me if it sounds raspy and if pops and gurgles alot? ..#MFL16582 Iam looking for a deep kinda loud quality sound not a cheap ghetto or ricer sound .. I heard a clip but it's hard to tell
btw I have AFM tuned off. I REALLY like the 5inch tip also (I don't know why maybe its thr 5in tips but I really like this deep sound and need to hear from someone who has it) ....Thanks

I don't have it (I have the Magnaflow Steet Catback) but I can tell you it won't sound raspy at all. Magnaflow has a low deep sound.
But if all you're adding is a Magnaflow axle back, it will not be loud. Magnaflow exhausts need Longtube headers to sound aggressive (the way you probably want your exhaust to sound).

I have it, I just installed it this weekend. I was very impressed when I first started the car after installing it. To me, it has a nice full sound. I left the BIG resonator in place and i'm glad I did otherwise it would've been too loud for MY taste. The ONLY popping or gurgling I have is when i'm in neutral and I rev it up, but its very minimal in my car. I NEVER get any of that when i'm driving the car, even when decelling in "manual mode". I have the AFM on in my car and its not bad at all. I really like the interior sound that this system has. to me, it was money worth spending.
I bought this system on wednesday and it came on friday and I got an awesome deal on it. PM me for details

OP, sorry for being off topic.
Brister1, what kind of Camera/digital recorder are you using? It has some of the best quaility (sound and video) I've seen. Most videos have terrible sound quality. You're works really well and picks up the exhaust sound extremely well.

SGO, thats not my video. but its one of the videos that sold me on the system. my car sounds just like that and I'm glad I choose the Magnaflow Comp. Axle back.

that's my video clip before i installed my headers. i drove it around for a month before installing the headers and it sounded good. its not raspy and it doesn't pop since the stock resonator is still installed.

Been thinking about replacing my street mufflers with straight pipes, basically making it the COMP version,

Is it pretty obnoxious? Mine sounds good now, but its just a little too quiet, Im worried with straight pipes it will be too loud

I love the sound of your car, hope mine souds as good. You did not use the "x-pipe". Being a CA car iam nervous about doing the shortie headers. I still need to tune out my AFM as well
