long waiting...

It's been six weeks since I ordered...
But still its status is 1100..
The weather here Indiana is getting so good.
I cant wait to drive my Camaro under this sunny weather.

What can I do...
Should I keep calling my dealer to push him do something for my order?
or...just wait with patience...?

These days, that just doesn't seem right. What did you order? I'd be checking on availability at other dealers if I was you!

If your dealer doesn't have an allocation for your order, there's not much he or you can do. You either have to wait until he gets the allocation, or order from a dealer who has immediate allocation for your order.

Lots of cars on the ground in-stock. Why wait?

What did you order?

67 Conv,

My guy (internet sales manager) told me that an order from the factory does not count against a dealer's allocation. It is treated as "found" business. He said that most dealers don't realize this.

I think your internet guy is confused.

Any order from the factory, whether for stock or a sold order, counts against a dealer's allocation.

Maybe so. He's ordered 5 recently as "sold units", saying they didn't count against their allocation. He also said that the Equinox is the only car he couldn't do this with. I don't know, my order's through though, so I guess it doesn't matter for me.

Cho, don't do what I did, ordered and waited 3 months and never moved so I canceled that order and went with Anna and my car was in my garage in 7 weeks. Plus, Anna's dealership has some in stock, check them out and they are close enough that you can drive there and pick it up.

I ordered Black 2SS/RS, A/T, and Sunroof...
My dealer just told me that It's gonna probably be here in a month.

If he is right, I don't really need to cancel it and find another dealer.
but not sure he's correct.

Thanks for all of your comments.

Black 2SS/RS Auto Sunroof are actually very common. Another dealer will more than likely have it in your state, I honestly wouldn't put myself through it, Your dealer is possibly..... and idiot

Same boat here. Ordered 2/23 still at 1100. Think they burned up all their allocations on lot cars.......
