Any input on Chevy offered Bolt On Exhausts

Does anyone have any thoughts about the performance exhaust upgrade and track pack exhaust offered by chevy? I'm looking for a more throaty sound not the blak - blak of a tuner car. Any help would be apprecieated. I do see alot on in the forums about exhaust but no one seems to mention these options. Are they just not worth it?

The reason they aren't mentioned is because they are made by either Corsa or Borla (no one knows for sure which but it is agreed that it's one of these) but the GM exhaust costs almost double what you would pay if you bought a Corsa or Borla exhaust. Why spend $1,000 buying an axle back when you can get same thing for $600?

I have the GMPP offered cat back exhaust. The reason I paid the extra money is that I plan on keeping this car pretty much stock (at least for now) and I didn't want any warranty issues if there were any problems. I had the dealer install it and I am very pleased. I also didn't want a car that you had to wear ear plugs to ride in (I have a Harley for that). The GMPP exhaust adds a nice deeper sound than the stock V8 setup and I can still stand to ride in the car for hours. I am happy with it.

Thanks

The dealer qouted me $697 installed for the perfomance version and $800 for the track pack. Are you thinking the track pack would be too loud? Like I said I am just looking for a more throaty sound. Thanks Again

I am not sure about the track pack. I can try to take some video of mine if you would like.

Only if its not too much trouble

Only if its not too much trouble - video would be great. I'm definetly worried about the track pack, plus its not street legal and I will need to make some modifications as mine has ground effects. Thanks

Today I ordered the GMPP exhaust. I will try and do a before and after video to help people like me who wanted to hear the difference before they bought the upgrade. Thanks fo all your help.

I can't see any way an axleback exhaust would cause warranty issues?
