Before you jump the guy on an Airaid you might want to wait for them to release the new intake tube.

Wow way to come out under the radar KN. Jeez had no idea they were even close. My advice after seeing some independent testing on other intakes is wait for somebody else. For someone like me where $300 is a LOT of money to spend, I'm not gonna just throw it out there, especially seeing so many others get burned before me.

Scrming, I think you do a good job at evaluating. Maybe K&N will send you a unit.

Ok... Looking closely at the dyno sheet... yeah... 2nd gear? Also notice there are no real gains until you get to about 5000 RPM...

Wonder if the hood was open... also the fact that there was no real gain makes me wonder if the stock snorkel starts being the bottle neck at 5000 RPM....

But for me the most noticeable thing is the lack of a increased torque in the lower RPMs.. That's what is going to be most noticeable...

K@N CAI looks cool. Can't wait to see how they add up to the Injen CAI

I don't think it will be quite as good as the Injen performance wise... My IAT relocation gave me a higher base line than perhaps a 100% stock intake would have... so in theory then Injen gains would have been larger... but the key thing to take away from this sheet is the Injen gains appear to be across the board... not just above 5000 RPM, ESPECIALLY the LOW END TORQUE! Which is what is going to give you that improved hard take off feel!
