custom vinyl rally stripe quote. Too good to be true?

When i got my windows tinted, I asked the tint guy (who has done a lot of work for me in the past) if he'd put on the GM factory rally stripes if I bought them. We were discussing price of the GM stripes and he said he could beat that easily.

We walked next door to a sign company. They quoted me $120 for hood and trunk rally stripes, custom cut to match the GM factory ones installed.

Too good to be true? They mentioned a 5 year warranty.

I know paint is the way to go but for $120, it's something to think about. I'd just hate to have them peel and look like garbage after a few months.

Opinions?

do it, the tint place here in RI was doing the stripes for the dealership because they kept screwing them up.

I guess you guys are going to cost me $120 then?

So I shouldn't worry about the quality of the vinyl? Tint guy told me, "Dude, vinyl is vinyl."

First experience w/ vinyl stripes. I've always been a truck guy.
