Foam gun ?.........Junkman

I have the quater master foam gun, at least I think that's the name, it's the one that you recommended in one of your posts..anyways with the Adams soap, how many ounces do you put in the container, and then you fill the rest up with water right?

2-3oz is recommended I double that.

Yes fill it with water after you put the soap in.

If not you will get some foam but not nearly as much if you put water in it.

I like to do about 4-5 cap fulls (i have the big 1gallon jug tho) and fill the foam gun container 1/2 full with water.... and give it a little shake before i start.

Oops I've been going pure car shampoo in that bad boy, but it's been working fine. I assume that the worst I've done is waste soap?

you can add a little more or little less depending on how dirty the car is.

I'm going to try watering it down with a 1 to 4 soap to water ratio next time I wash it and see if there is a noticeable difference in the suds. Is that still too much soap?

It's supposed to rain the next few days so I will hopefully get around to it late this week and post the results.

I use 2 ounces of Car Shampoo for the quart sized foam gun.
