K&N CAI causing CEL
guys,why the check engine lights keeps coming on when i installed my k&n cai ? you guys have the same problem ?

I had no issues and really there is only one way to plug things in without forcing something. Verify your connections and also did you have the battery disconnected while doing the install? Try those...

did you put the sensor in right?blue wire to the right.i just got finished putting my CAI inc.on just about 2 hours ago.no codes or lights.the only thing it could be,is the sensor.you should not have any check engine lights coming on.

yes,same day no lights but the next day the check engine light comes on

i dunno, i installed the Typhoon this past weekend, disconnected battery, etc. No problems. Good luck.

Did you change exhaust too? Friend of mine did and had an exhaust leak, had it welded up and it went away.. ????

put the K&N in last week with flowmaster exhaust and no codes so far

No problems with my K&N or Magnaflow. They were installed seperately. I would try the battery disconnect again and leave it overnight. Good Luck!

Installed my K&N 3 weeks ago, didn't even disconnect the Batt. no codes, no problems.
