Can I just clay and seal?

I don't have any swirl marks on my car, so I don't really want to buy a PC and polish... but I do have a lot of grim on there that I need to clay.

So, can I just clay, and then use a sealant, or do I need to do everything?

Does it matter in what context? I mean it won't hurt anything to seal over it but if it were me I'd fill them in with Langka first. Might as well do it right.

2ltrs said I can clay and seal if I'm blemish free. So I was wondering if there would be a problem sense I have a few blemishes, such as rock chips.

But I guess I just need to fill those with langka then?

He means if you want your paint to look good. You could seal over blemishes and rock chips if you wanted to, it's just that your paint will still look like crap under the sealant.

I'm saying what you CAN do. Ryan is telling you what you SHOULD do.

Yes, if you have no swirls then go ahead fill those chips with Langka or DR. Colorchip, then go ahead and seal
