Protective bra for side gill area??

Just wondering if anyone knows where i can get the protective bra material (clear) in random sizes. I know most of you have notices the threads about paint chipping near the side gills and mine is chipped pretty bad already (11xxx miles on car). I am looking for this protective sheet so i can custom cut it so the cut off liine wont be so noticeable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

sucks doesnt it...Well ive looked and seen sheets cut 4"x12" which wont be big enough but i have a few friends of my dads that i think do or have done it before and i want to get enough to make the cut off line even and not very noticeable. probably from the line of the rocker panel to the body line right above the gills that would cover that area no problem ill keep you guys posted on what comes!

Here is what you do.

Mudflaps.

I had 300 miles on my car and saw some chips. Added the mud flaps from GMparts direct. 144.00 No more chips and I got 3200 miles on it. Failing that go to your clear bra installer and have him custom cut something for you. You will not even see it on there unless you bend down and look.

Dont forget to check for pits in your headlights also. I added the headlight armor and that solved my damage I was seeing to the headlights. I also got the clear bra on the front. 400.00. This all might sound anal to do but its all on there and you can not tell unless you run your finger around the protected areas. The cost is the only factor you need to plan for. Otherwise these are must do things.

Make sure you go to an autobody shop and let them touch up your car. Cost me a few bucks but that's the solution.

Only other thing you can do is not to drive it. After a big rain storm my area in GA gets a lot of sand/rock from the runoff onto the roads. I notice this because I am a motorcycle driver and I feel it hit me. I tend to take the crappy car after a big rainstorm. And for god sakes do not drive your car down a gravel road. That will break your heart if you are driving any distance and then check your gills for damage.

im sticking to a clear bra, i had the factory spots replaced with a little bigger pieces & i dis-like the look of the mudflaps.

My causes are more due to running it on solo courses so i actually need some temp clearbra stuff.

I just got done with getting my clear bra installed today. I got the bumper, mirrors, a-pillar, top portion of the roof, gills, and behind the rear wheels. I recommend it to anyone. If your worried about chips then fork out the money NOW before its too late. Dont want to procrastinate and end up getting chips while your debating doing it or not. I went with a new product by Avory called Nano Fusion. Its an excellent product and said to be even better than VentureShield which before was the #1 film in the market. After having it installed I am glad that I went with it. I will be posting some pictures of it tomorrow when I get home from work.

Yes I have just started carrying the Nano Fusion film... its a great film and I do like it better than VentureShield Ultra... which has been my main film for years. The only down side is the cost for me to get it... its a little higher than VS, but worth it in my opinion.

Thats great to hear from someone with as much experience as yourself. Glad I made the right choice. I am only 2 hours from Vegas and I know they went to ?Pro-Tect? for some hands on training. They did a great job. He did mention to me that the avory is a bit more expensive but charged the same weather I chose VentureShield or Nano Fusion...

Here you go... I think you can search for certified installers on the website as well.

http://www.nanofusionfilm.com/

Other than that just google it. Its a fairly new product but is the next big thing from what I was reading. Have not heard any bad things about... Good luck!
