how to remove wax from stripes - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

recently waxed the car with turtle wax and can't seem to get all of the wax off of the stripes (hazy look). Is there a quick fix or what?

I would use a diluted APC (like simple green) - diluted 4:1 Water:Product. spray a little on a MF towel and lightly rub it off...

You can also wash the car with dawn to remove the wax from the car completely, and start over.

Don't wax the matte stripes - I recommend Adam's Clear Polish for matte stripes.

Order you some Adam's Clear Polish. Best stuff I have seen or used for doing vinyl stripes.

thanks guys for the quick response. i just used a damp cloth and some ajax brand dish washing liquid along with some elbow grease and that seemed to cut it. Thanks again!!! Where can i get this adams clear polish at?
