Exclamation URGENT! Help with ADM Race Install!!

VERY frustrated....

The pieces are not fitting together. If you look at the pic's, it appears the side panel is too tall and will not fit into the grooves of the car, so I thought, hmm maybe it needs to go under the A/C line, tried it but the clap you see me holding was stopping me from getting it all the way in, so I took it out, now being able to get the entire side panel it, but wait, the back panel wont go into place because the A/C line now runs through the box. I cannot push the side panel down any further as the elbow at the condenser is stopping it. Ive looked through the instructions over and over and have done exactly what it said

What am I missing??

Bend the A.C. line in towards the engine starting from the front.
The line is whats blocking the airbox from seating.
The line will be supported by an Adel clamp at the bottom most screw on the airbox once it's installed.
Don't get crazy with it, just move it in enough to clear the ledge.

All you have to do is use a little force to move it and it'll stay in that position. In other words, just shove it over.

Thank guys,

I dont know why I didnt see that in the instructions, I looked at it soo many times too, I overlooked it since its above the picture, I guess

Looks like ill be ordering a new back panel, 2 bolts cross threaded and just keep spinning and spinning

Never had so much trouble installing anything in my life, nothing went in as easy as in the videos

Man that sounds like me last week.

I broke my factory air box trying to get the metal stud out of the rubber gasket. It managed to get bent when it was installed and when I tried to pry it off, snap went the plastic box.

Not to mention that I made the rookie mistake of not verifing that all the hardware was included in the kit prior to starting. Nothing like standing there with a broken bracket on your factory air box and no mounting hardware for the MAF sensor.

Heres the 2 I cross threaded and the 3rd I didnt even attempt because I was beyond pissed at this point and if Ida cross threaded that one too and needed to buy both panels... oh boy.....

Wow man.... I don`t know what to say... It is a little more difficult than say an air raid or something but I thought it was very easy overall. I even installed the race scoop w/ no real pics or vid, actually i think there was like 1 kinda bad pic of the scoop location, much different than what he has up now, I was 1 of the first w/ the Race version. Like the others said just move the a/c line over towards the engine and I also took the grommet out if I remember right in the frame rail, its been a while. Fit perfect, mine was painted before install and I didn`t even scratch the paint it fit together so well.

Just take your time and don`t lose your mind over it. Call Andy he will help you.
