Good question .

Ok , so I REALLY with all my heart dont mean to offend anyone here , but I find the new 2010 Chevy Camaro's to be quite lame . My opinion though

I am one of those guys that would drive up to a hot chick in a 69 Camaro SS and ask her if she needs a ride Others would go in a lame Lamborghini . And some with a 2010 Chevy Camaro .

Yeah, I'm about to that point as well. A 69' would be nice, but I wanna drive it everyday. I don't think I can do that to a 69'. 2010 FTW.

You and pappy better have a good stash of cash if you plan on finishing a 3-5 grand 69 that would be presentable to the ladies.

Have a '68 that until November of last year it was my DD. Before anyone thinks it was some 6-cyl car it has a 468, dual holleys on an old-school offy low-rise and a 5-spd TKO 600 turning the 12-bolt's 3.55 gears. It was put up for a freshen up and the '97 Convert SS took it's place for a while. 2-months ago I picked up the 6-spd V6 car. Mileage is nice. I miss the torque my big block has.

There's a reason most agree the 69 is the best of the best when it comes to musclecars. The 2010 Camaro wants a piece of that. The plan is good the execution failed in several areas.

A 2010 Camaro is trying to live off the glory of the 69 and does not do a good job of it. It is a nice car but weighs to much. The ass looks terrible. When pushed into a high speed turns the weight factor becomes more apparent. I drive a lot of new cars so my opinions are soley based on my experiences. The Mustang which I have always felt was the enemy has pulled it off better then GM has with their retro.

The Pontic G8 weighs the same as the Camaro and it is a 4 door car. We have 2 of them in stock now so I drive them once a week. With a few mods it runs right alongside the new SS.

The 69 was always a better driver in it's time compared to what the new Camaro's have to offer. Like most in America the car has a big ass.
