had some paintwork done
didnt have my car at the cookout because the front bumper and driver headlight door were getting repainted. i thought i would post up the pics of the result. they matched the color perfectly (and they did NOT have the car). ill be sending my mirrors next week to get re-done as well. if you need paint work i suggest the maaco i took my stuff too. its in sterling off cedar rd.
they completely stripped the old paint off (which was literally just falling off because of a poor paint prep job 3 years ago), having done this i feel they got it done in a reasonable amount of time and also a reasonable price. based with 2 coats and 3 coats of clear. |

well good to hear you got a good job from maaco. but the work i have seen i would not take my car there unless it was a beater and i just wanted paint and did not care about quality.
other then that if you are happy thats all that matters. and thank you for the pics |

to be honest. it all depends on the owner and how much of a stickler he/she is as well as the painter. ive worked for several bodyshops in the past 10 years and maaco in hampton roads was one of the best as far as paint/bodywork is concerned, next to one other body shop. im glad i found this one up here. i have paint work that needs to be done to all 3 of my vehicles.

thanks. not many people do. i mainly got it to stand out from the crowd of TA owners who buy WS6/WS9/Raptor/Hawk hoods. they are a plenty. |

Agree
I, too, love the hood - it's the thing I like most on the Fbody of that generation - the TA looks way "meaner" than the Camaro did -- I owned both -- just didn't like the looks of the pop-up headlights. Your car is looking really good.
