Which car?

What would you do?

2010 Jeep SRT8 fully loaded (48 MSRP, 0% for 72 offer)

2010/11 Camaro 2SS/RS (38 MSRP)

2011 BMW M3 sedan (67K MSRP 1.9 % for 60) but this is way out of the price range

I'm leaning towards going to the dealer to have them locate one of the last SRTs around, but I'm thinking they may overcharge since it's a few left in the country brand new. The Camaro I like, but I really like 4 doors. The M3 would be a crazy price for me, but I could swing it I just worry about depreciation with that one.

The Camaro we have had four adults (all under 6') in our car quiet often. All have said it wasn't that bad for short trips.

The jeep while cool sucks fuel like no tomorrow and extra cost is a loser for me, the only bonus is the room..

M3 I know two owner, one who has had noting, but issues and is looking at the New Camaro the other got tired of the extra cost of owning a BMW and traded it.. both make enough money to afford them, but still were not that impressed overall. The funny thing is we drove one of them in the new Camaro to pick up his in the shop..

If cars were equal priced, I would say SRT8. But with the prices you listed, I would say Camaro. You get way more fun for much less money.

And no matter what anyone says.. For almost everyone it is at least a little bit about money.

Rich people don't get rich by making poor financial choices. So even for folks with lots of money... the price still means something to them. Unless you are a mulitmillionaire, then a 50K car isn't a big deal as long as you aren't buying one every week.

If four doors is all you are looking for, then why not get a Charger RT or SRT? Sure, the Jeep is cool, but as mentioned, it sucks gas like no tomorrow (if you can't keep your foot out of it...which, if you could, why would you bother with the SRT version....you'll get around 10mpg...)

Again, with these questions though....log on to a Camaro forum and then ask "which should I get? The car all you guys and gals love, an overpriced, terrible gas mileage SUV, or a very overpriced, overrated German car?" What do you expect people here to say?

I would tell you this...if you can afford the Bimmer, then you have a huge list of vehicles to choose from. Hell, you could get into a Cayenne S for that money...then you have 4 doors, fairly fun and sporty, and German....best of all your worlds.....lol. (You could get into a Cayenne Hybrid too, then you'd get all that plus better gas mileage....)

I don't want to spend M3 money...thats a huge car payment. I like the SRT8 because it's an SUV that can be used for lots, but its going to be replaced in 2012 according to rumors with a new model SRT8 based on the new Jeep that is out now. Price wise really cant beat the Camaro.

Out of the list the M3 easily.

Realistically out of the list the SS.

M3 sedan is ideal, but the payments are huge. I think SRT8 is where I can meet in the middle. Also looking at Corvette but they are so small. I test drove it and was a little turned off by the size of it, how low it is, etc. The M3 and SRT are like regular cars/SUV...just with power. The Camaro SS I really need to test drive.

Can I suggest a 2010 C63? With the 15,000 off MSRP you can walk away with one for about 49,000

Hmnn did a bit more searching; if you'd like you can also get a 335i-Msport...

Or if you don't mind used in Socal you can get CPO'd M3's all day for 49,000 (with the total of 10 years warranty)..(Sedan or Coupe)...

Hmnn or for 40,000 you can get a hell-ava-car...An E60 M5 with about 40,000 miles

The C63 is sweet. That is what my father-in-law drives. He traded in a 911 on it. He says the C63 is a lot faster. Plus he has a usable backseat when he needs to haul a couple other family members around.
