Welp my wife and I are now registered to run the PF Chang's half marathon in January...

I am going to die.... on the race course... I SWEAR IT!!!

Oh well... something i always wanted to complete in my life...

Very cool. I can't run anymore for crap. I was doing 6 miles at one point in time. I know I can get back into it....but that would take a LOT. I do the treadmill all the time...bicycling is a blast. I just don't like to run like I used to.

my roommates is doing a half-marathon soon. he's getting up every saturday morning at 5am to run a few miles. that guy has discipline lol.

i'm not much of a runner. i prefer a bike.

I cant run for a long time i get terrible shin splints i get shine splints from playing basketball for an hour haha but good luck.

train buddy.. me and my friend did a full length triathlon over the summer.. the hardest thing i ever did in my life but still the most rewarding and self gratifying thing i have ever done.
Make sure you don't go out to hard at the beginning or the middle of your race will suffer. Eat tons of spaghetti the day before at lunch and a butt load of water. Make sure you stay at a pace you can keep at for at least the first six or 7 miles. Most importantly, have fun. It will be well worth it when you finally finish.

Good luck and have fun! I just run to the fridge to get some lunch and I am winded. But I feel great now.
