"Yeah she's a Nasty little Bitch"

Wow is all I can say. The torque and the power has been unleashed! Now the car responds so much better. The transmission works so much smoother. No more AFM or Torque Mgmt. The car practically reads my mind I absolutely love it. Its amazing to me that GM wants to void the warranty for making the car actually work better, with what appears to be less stress on the transmission. Before the Tune the Transmission would be moving all through different gears trying to figure out what I was going to do if I had to back off sometimes overcorrecting.not to mention that freaking AFM Good Buy Big Brother.
Its a real shame they they choke these magnificant machines to death instead of letting them do what their designed to do.
I am so happy with Ted Janettys Tune, I sent him my stock tune at around 10pm on a sunday night, woke up the next day to find it in my inbox, had it uploaded very easily and ready to drive in about 15 mins. All in all it has been a great experience and these guys definitely know their business

What is AFM? fuel management?

is that the same as displacement on demand that disables 4 of the cylinders?

yes, AFM = Active Fuel Management - same as DOD = Displacement on Demand...

GM called it different things, not "different people" LOL

in early 2006 it was "Displacement on Demand"... then they changed it to "Active Fuel Management"... they thought it sounded better... they didn't want people thinking back to the early years when they had that fiasco 4/6/8 cyl caddy.. hehe..

yeah I've always called it DOD and will continue to.

I made my exhaust sound like crap switching from 8 to 4 cylinders and back again.

I took it out, and I don't miss it.

Mine has the JRE Street Package and was custom tuned by Ted Jannetty when I brought my Camaro to Jannetty Racing, the car is a beast.

was this a tune through a Preditor or similar unit with and did you actually get a transmission tune. I want to get a hand held to turn off the AFM/DOD for the "drone" but I have not done any engine mods as of yet.

Only SCT supports the A6 trans tuning, so that is what we use on all L99s.

do you have a ballpark number after the tune? With no mods just the tranny and torq management?
