This is just crazy stupid! They have the best rotation in baseball. Probably ever.

I thought the Giants had that? I don't follow baseball, but everyoe was saying it's because they have a great pitching staff that they have so many 1-0 games and win with pitching/defense.

Congrats to the phillies for that. Maybe they'll be able to win this year.

yanks couldn't buy lee because he doesn't want to play in ny!..ya know it isn't ALL about the money with everyone!..guy lives in arkansas,and maybe he don't want to play in a f**kin' "'toilet!"..any way, could be philly,and beantown this year in the big show!

Good luck with that. The Yanks are pretty good at some things - like spitting on Mrs. Lee and driving Cliff away, maybe - but you've got to hustle if you're going to find a hand that can beat four Aces. :D

IF the Phillies can hold this rotation together for a lonnnnnnnnnnnng time like the braves did back in the early 90's on then they can have that title as well.

Don't forget Avery in his prime in that rotation as well. Problem is with the mighty rotations is that Atlanta only has ONE title to show for all those post season appearances. Which proves that some days, good hitting CAN beat good pitching.

Philly might be on a good roll for now, but eventually they ALL fall down. SF proved to Philly last year that it wouldn't have mattered if they had Lee. He went 0-2 in the world series against the Giants, which means as great as he normally is, he CAN get killed by a rag-tag lineup.
