Spent a couple hours washing, clay-baring, polishing and waxing.......I think it came out ok. Just as I was finished and walked out my garage it started pouring  so I couldn't take any pics out in the sun....but this will do...

very nice , i think u need more things to do , like front lip black

hardestysa 06-08-2011 09:36 PM

you could always paint the front street scene chin splitter... I dont know where I came up with that idea... :sm0:

khislop007 06-09-2011 06:37 AM

Thx

i think the street scene splitter looks better on the v6 fascia over the v8. just waiting on the Jay Leno splitter to come out :emoticon3:

I like how you set up your car hardestysa!

Looking good man you got my vote for a cotw

zslewis 06-15-2011 01:47 AM

So how did you dye the stitching on the interior?

khislop007 06-15-2011 06:20 AM

Thanks for all the comments guys! ;) I just wish I had a longer stretch sometimes to open her up

I used the Elmer's Painter pen for the stitching. It works really good and gives it a good solid color! Just make sure to only do about 4 inches at a time and use a damp cloth to keep wiping it off the leather. I used 2 coats and it is holding up good too.
