Where to get touch-up dye for interior panels?
I just got my first scratch on my interior door panel and I'm looking for some sort of dye or paint that will match my black door panel but will also adhere to the plastic.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've had my car for 2.5 years and this is my first scratch. I'm pretty bumbed about this so I wanna get it touched up pretty quickly. bumblebeecamaro using Tapatalk HD |
Not sure where it's at, but maybe black shoe polish? :iono:... if it's somewhere your clothing isn't gonna rub

I've seen paint color listed on paintscratch.com ...

I've not tried it, but they must have gotten the number from somewhere... could get the paint pen and try it in an inconspicuous spot (bottom edge of door panel, etc)

I was wondering this too, got a few scratches on the driver door panel that are irking me...

Google search turned up Sherwin Williams document that lists the same part number for a number of GM interiors... http://www.sherwin-automotive.com/Re...atibility.ashx

You might want to look at SEM interior dyes. They probably have a match.

ORANGE U NV had a very inexpensive and very practicle idea. I know I've used it in other applications. Black shoe polish. Try it, it might just work.

I used a black sharpie marker and my finger to rub it in. Couldnt tell
