Dyno Day Indy

Anyone interested in another Dyno Day here in Indy and more specifically with our friend Mike Norris at Mike Norris Motorsports.

Last year Oldschoolcamaro put it together with Mike and it turned out to be a pretty nice affair. Lot of cars showed up for not just dyno pulls but tunes and having some parts installed like catch cans, braided hoses etc....

Mike was a great host and he, the wife and family provide warm beverages for a cool day, Oldschool manned the grill with dogs and burgers and everyone had fun and got to see where their car stacked up. A lot of mods have taken place since then and the weather is starting to get that little bit of chill to it and the air is getting dense wit low humidity, so its time to at least get it in the making.

I'm suggesting people start to hit in now with dates (weekends of course) that would be good for this to jump off. I'm sure Oldschool would appreciate some activity on this so he can at least think about getting with Mike and making this happen again. Maybe Darth_Emma and her crew can Camarovan on over once again for a good time in Indy.

Lets hear from you and what you think on this endeavor.

Peace!

PS

Oldschool, let me know if you need anything on this end to help get this together.

I would be interested in this as I missed last year. Any weekend should be okay as long as I have some advance notice.

Perhaps I could get one of the V6 Vmax TBs ordered and installed if this takes place.

Hey All,

This all sounds good and for me, my open weekends, at least at this moment, are Oct 15th, 22nd and 29th.

Let me know and we will get it together.

Just a heads up, the CICC Picnic is scheduled for noon on Saturday 10/22 so that could affect turnout on that date...

Last year we got started around 8am I think and I had haircuts to provide, think I got there around 9:45 but the line or list was long. With tunes being done and all, I know we were there up until 2p and Mike was doing the dyno's until there were no more to do.

October 15th will work for me, and I'd like a catch can installed.

Hank, have you heard from OldSchool? He put it together last year and hasn't chimed in on this and I don't want to step on anyone's shoes! I know time is getting away, the days are getting short and the nights long. Before you know it will be tucked away for a long winters nap.

it's been a couple weeks since I spoke with him. About time I get ahold of him and see what's up. I do know he has been swamped at work.

I actually saw him at the Pittsboro show last weekend (he DJ'd). He said he has been really busy and has not had time to come on here much. Based off that I would think he would not mind! Aren't you retired now, Joe?
