Looks nice! Is this just a knob? Pressure fit or is there another method of securing it to the stick?

DocHolliday 10-01-2009 03:46 PM

LOVE it George! Best one I have seen.

hey guys ,

sorry for not responding sooner...

the shift knobs are in stock i have about 25 of them run and working on another batch now.

they have a tapered bore to match the oem stalk and also have a locking screw at the base to tighten it down so it wont move.

they are actually 3 separate machined pieces and VERY high quality in looks and feel. we have been making this knob for the Viper market for about 12 years now.

they are 75.00 plus shipping

you can order by calling our sales line at 706-793-1770

Will this knob fit on the Hurst shifter? It is 3/8" - 16 thread. BTW, one great looking knob.

it will not fit the hurst threaded shaft but it will fit the adapter i am sure that the hurst comes with since it was designed to fit to stock oem knob and so is this shift knob.

i will warn you and htis is NOT a slam on the hurst shifter as i honestly do not have ANY idea if it will be an issue but this style knob does have to have a fairly vibration free setting as it may buzz if the shifter has any type of ratlting issues.

AGAIN>>>> i am NOT saying the hurst unit will make any noise i am just saying that in OTHER car applications i.e mustang corvette etc. we have found that some aftermarket shifters make these knobs buzz .

Save one of those knobs for me (the first 25) for me!

George. I agree with you I know the shift pattern. Whoops most of the time, missed 2nd to 3rd shift at Street Legals. LOL Can't wait for your new shifter.

DocHolliday 10-01-2009 11:27 PM

G-

I called and left a message, hopefully you got it. Looking to get both shifter and knob. Thanks!
