My LCAs for Smaller Diameter/more rear spacing wheels
 

I've been messing with this project in my spare time which I have not had alot of recently. Finally the finished product is on the car.

When I first wanted to tackle this project I was trying to design a nice LCA to work with the stock style shock. I didnt really like it. Thanks to Brett from BMR for kick starting my brain into not over thinking stuff, I decided to go with a different length shock which made the control arm MUCH easier to build. Plus it opened up a large array of choices in shocks.
I chose the Ride Tech Triple Adjustable coilovers:D

Very Nice are you able to use 15" wheels

I will need a brake package to clear a 15" wheel. But I am 95% sure a 15" will clear with no issue. More likely to hit the trailing arm with a 15" than hit these LCAs.

I have some V6 brakes which will work with a 16", but may keep the brembos on there and run a wide 17" with a Big DR. Havn't decided yet. Just depends how much rear spacing/tire I can fit in the stock wheel well and if I can decide on using a radial over a bias ply.

Looks AWESOME Squintz, very professional!!!! If you're not careful, you're going to have a large group of people knocking on your door wanting you to make some for them too!!! Are those your own custom trailing arms too? Congratulations, looks like a success to me!!!

Thanks Blazzin. The Trailing arms and Toe links are from LPE. I did use the same clevis bracket on the LCA's as the trailing arms, purchaced from the shop that builds them for LPE.

I would love to build these for anyone who wants them. Unfortunately I just dont have the time to devote to it. I also had to modify the stock upper shock mounts to make these shocks work. They are spherical bearing mounts both top and bottom. This way I can mount them shaft down for less unsprung weight. I have a pic around here somwhere of the upper mount. Lemme dig it up.

Great fabrication job on the control arms. How much longer did you make them and what are you rear camber settings?

Thank You Sir:D. They are currently at stock length but are adjustable. Camber is at -0.07* right now. I will need to shorten them up a bit to get it to 0* at the current ride height.

A thought on a second version might be to modify the control arm like you did with the trailing arm. This will give you a serious amount of flexibility. Just a thought. You sir are seriously talented and have done a great job.
