I have no idea what you could POSSIBLY mean... :emoticon7:

Hennessey is finishing up the build this week. Lots of good stuff done to the suspension/brakes/chassis but I can't get detailed pics till its all done and cleaned up. Once its done I believe its going to get plenty of media attention and I'll get good pics out as soon as I'm able including shots of the under carriage with it up on a lift.

We need more!

Any chance you could get some pics of the undercarriage as well?

Congrats on the purchase.

I'm sure you could get someone to take professional pics for free & let them use the pics to show off their product.

I know you're probably busy, so if you don't get a chance to post anymore don't worry. Rockin' ride :headbang:

Whats up with no under the hood where it counts pics? Secret flux capacitor mounting?

Kyle2k 04-12-2010 05:15 PM

I'm kind of curious about the "sweet spot" comment and the Maggie too, ADM has built cars that make 1000RWHP on a built 427 (as I recall)

ITMerc 04-12-2010 05:21 PM

LOL! Nothing secret, the car ran but was still 'under construction' so to speak so it really wasn't much to look at right then. You can't see the turbos from under the hood anyway since they're bottom mounted so you aren't going to see much. We put it in that small Corvette/Chevy show at the last second primarily just because it was right here in Houston.

I promise there will be full photo's once Hennessey wraps it all up and the media gets a swing at it.

I doubt they did it on a stock TVS2300 though. Hennessey went back and forth directly with Magnusson swapping parts for almost 2 weeks and in the end the agreement was (as I understand it) that the 2.3 liter TVS2300 just wasn't happy pushing enough air at enough psi to make my application happy. When they spun it hard enough to get the pressure we needed it was making too much heat because it was out of its efficiency range ON MY APPLICATION. Its perfectly happy on a mostly stock LS3 though which is what it was designed for. Its a damn fine piece of kit so I'm not knocking it whatsoever! We could have just moved up a model to a higher volume unit but its designed differently in regards to the heat exchanger etc and Hennessy and I were both eager to try out twin turbos once we started looking at options.

Twin Turbs Configuration...

BRILLIANT! The whole set up is rock solid. I am green with envy! What a rocketship. Congrats on Best Under Construction Award. Well deserved.

A freaking beautiful car! I wanted to go the way of the carbon fiber hood and trunk and the way you pulled it off looks so damn perfect. My engine won't ever come close to yours (I doubt anyone will), but your project makes me totally sold on going forward with the STS turbo for my V6. Once again, perfect ride, it looks amazing.

Not only is the car an absolute dream but it is also good for the economy. :w00t:

Another option for the use of a twin screw on this type of build could be the larger size Kenne Bell. Just a guess.

Still, twin turbos are the shizznit. Amazing car you have there.

A great ride made even better by that Eagle Globe & Anchor.

If you need someone to drive it so you can get some action shots, I'll buy my own plane ticket.
