Ok here is a example Dyno with the issue.

2011 2LT/RS Vert A6 with BBK LT, Hi flow cats, ported TB, IM Spacer, Trifecta tune. MRTv2

I also did a data log at the same time. so we can review.

After looking at this today i it stops around 4,500 RPM.

So I looked in my data log around that RPM. I found this!
Its the only thing so far that matches up to it.

Ignition Timing Advance. What causes this? It looks like its close in time with the Knock retard. So i take it the knock is causing the timing and in turn is killing the power?

Now this cant be the tune since we seen IPF and Trifecta dyno done once after the other without this issue.
Wish we could see a log from a Dyno with out the wavy lines like this.

So this has to be a issue would our Camaros. How do we find out that it is since some have it and others dont?

Thanks for the 101.

Going by my graph. This looks normal and I should not worry about it correct?

I was just worried that maybe the IM spacer might have not been sealed the best and leaking. ( last thing i did before the first dyno that looks like this)

My butt Dyno does not feel this. The car runs and feels great.

I think i need to stop worrying about all this and drive and just have fun!

This is in fact Knock retard there is either bad gas in the car or too much timing in the tune.

It is amazing what you can see with a dyno that you can't Feel.

Ted.

Thanks, I been going by what everyone else is telling on on these V6's.

That the knock is normal on these LLT's and they have plenty of it. Too some of the v8 tuners telling me there should be 0.

I use 93 oct. but that does not mean its not bad. I can try another Place.
and is there any additives i should try before redoing the log? to see if its the gas or not?

This is my cammed LLT on road using 10% ethanol at around 97 octane.

Edit: I'll find a better way of attaching images...soz.

On the road I did a WOT run an data log. Sent in and was told it was great.

I checked the log and there was some knock about 4. On dyno it was up to 8.

Yeah...just looked at those pdfs again. Stuffed it up a bit...will do again. Alternatively can send you logs as is just Trifecta EZflash log or can SCANXL if you want?

Will do you a swap as would love to have a look at Glides logs. Particularly interested in LTFTs.
