EVENT CODE AND ORDER CHANGES
At what event code are changes to the order not allowed any longer? For example if I wanted to change colors at event code 2000, is that doable?

I believe the cut-off point is 2000. Perhaps someone else can confirm.

Correct once GM has accepted the order you can no longer change.

can someone please explain why the orders stay at 1100 for ever what doe it take for GM to accept an order is there an error that wont get accepted. seems that orders should go to 2000 a few days after 1100 and then sit there until necesary.

My original order was placed day one on October 13th and was still at 1100 on January 31st when I canceled it and opened a new order at a different dealership (because they were accepting discounts). It wasn't until a couple weeks later that it moved from 1100. In fact, that was about the time that a good handful of orders changed and a lot of those were Oct/Nov orders. I guess what I'm saying is I see no rhyme or reason why it jumps levels or whether I'd be concerned if it stayed at 1100 for a while considering how fast it can move once it does.

Wait... you ordered a couple weeks ago and your order has moved? And you're getting discounts????? HOW????

Surprisingly it does make sense. I'd love to have a 12SS, talk about loaded, but have you seen the price tag on one of those bad boys? Had to settle for the 0. :sm0: |
I thought you could change orders in 2000s. I changed from auto to manual and event code was 2050 (order changed). I hope I didn't mess up the order??

We have the ability I believe to make changes up to the 3000 event code, but it requires backing the order out of the system. It will push it back a little bit, but requires someone to call the plant manager and have the order pulled. We did it on a Z06 corvette a couple of years ago.
