Personally, I've got a contact for the tires. And with the aftermarket companies that are already coming in with replicas for the ZL1 rims (just as with anything else), I have a good feeling prices are going to drop a tad for the rims. I'm not saying what people are asking isn't reasonable. Just saying that I'm more interested in the rims at this point. :)

Replica's are heavy, not the same rotary forged wheels and it depends on how long you want to wait for them to become cheaper, as I doubt they will be getting much cheaper through GM...so you only have people who buy the cars equiped with them. If they don't sell for what I am asking, will keep them and use up the tires...then put some 100 treadwear race tires on them to abuse on the track...:D

GMPartsDirect has the fronts for $624.89ea and rears for $626.56ea acording to the part numbers on this list. $2502.90 for the 4...not too bad.

 Added them to the cart and they add a core charge of $100 for each pair and shipping is $663.27

Darn shipping!:mad0260: I got quoted $3200+tax for the set from the dealer, so pretty much the same.

You might be able to find a dealer that will sell them close to the same price as gmpd without shipping.

pm me if you want the wheels.

For those of you who think that the 1LE package is too expensive at $3500 pay close attention to this thread. I said months ago that the wheels and tires were worth at least
$3500.
The 1LE is full of win.

What tire options are there for these wheels?

TAG UR IT 08-15-2012 06:47 PM

285 35 20 for 10" wide fronts and 11" rears. Or u can go up to 305 rear. But, that is ZL1 size. I want the 1 l e size tires for autocross. 285 all the way around!

Actually, you can go to a 315 on an 11" wheel...
