CORRECT!!! This is not a kit for the V-6 Camaro!!!! It is for the Pontiac G8!!! We will be developing a unit shortly for the V6 - but this is not it!!!!
I will contact the dealer and have them correct!!

Does anyone out there know when the GMPP Air Intake Kit will be released, I have already ordered and paid for it except there is a delay. Asked the parts department at the dealership yesterday and they have no new information and I want to stay with GMPP and not go aftermarket. Also does any one know when GMPP will be releasing Shortie Headers for the V-6.

This is a V6 performance thread....

this is the one i installed a couple months or so on mine..i absolutely love it. i myself can feel a difference in the before and after. id recommend this cai if you really want one. took about 20 mins to take stock off and install this one. no cutting or anything..just took the old box out that held the other filter. but i may put it back in and customize it to go around this one..i seen a guy at the Talladega meet that had that done..looked pretty cool and also protected the cai from debris. but all in all i really like this product, one of my favorite mods. it made the engine have a slightly deeper growl, SLIGHTLY, and makes a really cool whistling sound as the air sucks through the intake. so when your driving and you hammer down even for a second it whistles and its really distinct too. lol. i drive through the city where the sound echos off the buildings and people wonder why my cars bouncing up and down cause i keep hitting the gas hard and letting off just to hear the air rushing through the filter..LOL. but other than that its very sturdy, installed in a few mins, seems to me to add more power that i can actually feel, sounds cool, looks great even with a painted engine cover, and personalizes your underhood features.you can also get the sleave to match just about any stock color.

does anybody know where you can buy that four gauge cluster for the center console?

mrray13 12-16-2009 08:41 AM

Junk yard, for now. Dealership in time. But due to the fact you have an LS, and the gauge cluster is only available in 2LT/2SS, you won't have the proper harness for it.

We installed my JBA headers (1816S) yesterday! :happyanim:

I have no performance data yet (dyno on June 9th) but the sound difference is amazing! Very happy!

Install thread is here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58526

Got my JBA shorties, 1816S, installed as well. Definitely changed the tone! It is way more aggresive then with just the Flowmasters. Hopefully will see dyno Tuesday, 5th, at the latest.

Hi Guys!

This is my first mail. I noticed that every one is really interested in boosting the V6 including me. I hate this quite engine.

I have contacted Borla to get more info on HP gained after installing Catbacks is....

12 to 15 on average !!

But I feared losing my warranty, thats why I will have to go for GM PP. Did anyone tried them yet ?

Go to the second "sticky" thread in the V6 section. Borla's in there.
