The dash in front of the passenger seat
It's a little...blank. Anyone have any plans to liven that up a bit? I had kind of thought of putting "Camaro SS" across the dash in the camaro's lettering, but I'm not sure where I would get that.

Where does the Airbag come out? I'm afraid that a emblem attached would turn into a deadly projectile!

yea its something i wanna fix when i get mine...but i dont have a clue???

I won't touch the plastic area as that is where the airbag deploys (if you press on it a bit it flexes, while the rest of the dash does not) but I do plan on getting some aftermarket trim for the strip that goes from door panel to door panel across the dash. I'm hoping for brushed aluminum, carbon fiber, or exterior color matching beyond the few choices GM offers.

I actually like the way it looks...directs the attention to the drivers side of the car as well as the retro gauges in front of the shifter!
|
I always thought the "Camaro" script from the side of the car would look good embossed into the plastic, like it is on the Corvette.
|
i want to go all retro. replace the ss badges with the ones from a 69, and take off the new camaro lettering off the side and replace it with the 69 version. I have always loved that old cursive hand writing style. then put the old 69 camaro emblem on the dash. but thats just me

The first time I sat in the car the gap looked AWFUL.
The second time..not so bad. I think it's just something you'll get used to. |
The dash is fine for me.

It migth be able to be fixed with custom cover like from Dash King. They sell vette ones with logos. Just has a flap where the bag pops out.

've seen on the corvette it says corvette, maybe someone will come out with one that says camaro?
