Confuse people because 429 usually equals Ford ;)

Yea I actually think thats funny. I actually had to ask Steve as we were working the details..."don't you mean 427?". On the flip side it will be very unique to have an LS based 429...

After taking a beating from every Chevy guy I know, the forums, Facebook groups, etc. I am officially re-ordering the badges and calling this a 427. I'm weak... :)

Have that badge so that it says, 427 and in very small font, top right of the seven, it will read +2. Win, win. They you can tell everyone what it means, lol.

Boo!!!

Just kidding, but yeah, it will be easier to talk to people about it this way.

Great build! One of the nicest gen5 Camaro's period.

elarson5757 02-17-2015 04:36 PM

thats for sure...the 429 seems to evoke some negativity. LOL

BTW Andy when do I get to see the Buick listed in your signature? I've always loved those and can't imagine what you may have done with yours...

Well mechanically the car is done except for final calibration, drivability, etc. We are finally getting close. It's been a long road due to delays on the block from RHS so I'm sure Andy, Steve, and the guys at Livernois are ready to never see me again.

Well after a lonnngggg road of wait the build is done!! Many pics and videos to follow but the dyno chart speaks for itself. Car is in the 100rwhp club.

815/821 at the wheels on the blower/meth and 1000/1055 with a small shot of NOS.

As always, we appreciate the kind words, and being selected to be a part of this phenomenal build!
