Bright Headlights
I keep getting warned that bright lights are on when they are not on at night so to be respectful to other drivers at night what can be done to lessen the intensity or direction of lights?

Nothing ...

Flash your brights, it'll shut them up...... I get it all the time with my halogens... people don't realize that you can't have fogs and headlights on at the same time... I drive with my fogs on all the time.

Putting strips of duct tape over your headlights would work however I wouldnt recommend doing this.

Nothing. Let them keep flashing u. I actually have HIDs in my fogs. No one flashes me. I guess it depends on ur area.

Take a look at your headlights on traffic. If you're behind a car at a light, and your lights shine up half of the car you're good. If it shines in their back window the hids are too high.
If they are ok and people keep flashing you, a good middle finger out the window is your best solution lol |

With how many people that have HID drop in kits on lifted trucks out there I find it amusing that people would flash you in a stock ZL1. I have it rigged up so my DRLs are on at night with 7.5W LEDs, and 6K HIDs in the fogs and headlights on my ZL1. I still haven't got flashed once.

If it's good looking women 'flashing' you.. I'd continue on with the beams where they're at.
Seriously though, seems like you may have a beam that is mis-aligned or maybe a bulb that isn't put in correctly, giving off a weird glare. |
I was able to find adjustment screw above the lights turned them down using garage door as a reference this helped. Not fun on two lane highways with very little traffic hit you with the brights to warn you.
