Well, first screw up in the new Camaro!

Pulled off the side of an old street to eat some dinner this evening. The street sloped down into a very tall curb. Left the car in gear to hold it from rolling down into the curb. When I came back out to leave my dumb self pushes the clutch in to start the car and away I go rolling into the curb. Now I've got a nice little scratch on the bottom part of the bumper as well as a warped passenger side bumper cover in front of the wheel. The scratch doesn't bother me much because it's hardly noticeable. But, this "bubble" does. Is there anyway these can be formed back into shape? Or do I need to go look at a new bumper?

Also, anyone with recommendations on a shop in the DFW area that will treat the customers fairly price wise let me know.

Lemme see if I can get one in the dark.

ah man that sucks, I got curb rash on one of my wheels if that makes you feel better :(

That's no good.

My 2nd day in my Camaro a 1 gallon milk jug (empty) flew out of a truck and landed in the road in front of me. Being that I've drove pickups ever since I got my license (7 years now) I never checked up. It wasn't until I ran it over and heard it drag under the car for a couple hundred feet that I remembered I was in a CAR. Didn't scuff the paint on the bottom of my bumper or anything luckily.

I buy paint and detailing supplies from English Color. They might be able to give you a good reference.

I only know places out here in Greenville.

Good luck.

Not opposed to going to Greenville! I'm think the fact that its warped is going to warrant a new bumper, so I may just go with a ZL1 bumper.
