2013 2SS/RS AGP TT Install by CarbConn

Carbconn who?! I just had to have fun with the title - more than 1,000 miles from the the infamous speed shops like ADM, FSP, Jannetty, etc. My builder is a great guy named Alex at Carbconn in Totem Lake, WA here in the NorthWest.

Kit is the standard (56mm) AGP TT base kit with a Livernois Motorsports L92 Stage 2C cam and AEM Tru-Boost Electronic Boost Controller. Inside we will have the EBC and an AEM Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge mounted in an A-pillar 2-gauge pod from Autometer.

Target is 650RWHP, which was range-selected based on:
- Based on other threads and great feedback from other experienced folks out there (special thanks Unreal), this is the top-end for my (for-now) stock driveline.
- Daily Drive car with lap time at the local tracks (Ridge and Pacific) - e.g. not a 1/4 mile car.

Deferring the clutch (Alex feedback - burn this one out first, it is brand new!), but will likely go for the twin-disk street slayer when it is time.

Here are the first round of pictures with the engine dropped. Pretty cool to see how well engineered this engine bay is. The Carbconn guys said only the C5 Camaro designers seem to "get it" by putting the entire wiring harness intact with the drop - all other cars apparently require a tedious process for every bit of wiring and sensor.

In case you are wondering about what that box is hanging just behind the front fender post - it is the control module for the NightOWL LED kit - look it up, it rocks.

Your welcome, I guess. I'm just glad people are seeing the performance value and fun of turbos.

You will love it. I'll have to make Kevin buy me a polar pop for helping sell a kit.

Did anything ever come out of the rumor that AGP was going to provide TT badges?

Since I don't work there I don't want to say anything, but I did see some on Cortneys desk.

Cam and Springs are in, Turbos are hung, here is a picture of some in-progress loose fittings as the work back from the turbos and wastegate.

While it was off its proverbial feet, I grabbed the calipers for painting - taking them back to be remounted this weekend.

That car is now well hung.

We don't need no stinkin badges.

HarryNW, do they have a roundabout time of being finished? I would like to take a look at your setup once finished as I might be going that direction and would love to see it in person.

Call up Alex at Carbconn and talk to him about your goals and budget. Really great guy with many, many years of real world experience. See if you can check out Harry's car while it's there.

I have actually been to Carbconn before, but something happenned to someone in our local group that turned me off to that shop, so I went with Tom Wong in Vancouver. Tom is great as he has done my headers and my cam along with the tuning to go with it. I personally don't have anything against Carbconn, I just went with Tom already. I have a thing about sticking with someone that does a good job for me. The only reason I would stop going to Tom is if something bad ever happened that was caused by his work. I really wated to see how it drives and sounds more than anything else.
