Today I finally got around to installing the replacement brass bushings on my Hurst Billet Plus 2 shifter! The nylon bushings supplied by Hurst just wear out and causes excessive play in the shifter. It took a couple hours but was well worth the time and effort! Here's a link to the thread on the Hurst shifter fix:

edit: Anyone with an aftermarket Hurst shifter this is a must upgrade! I've been driving it now for a couple weeks and the feel of the shifter is superb, like it should be!
