"Whoops" happen all the time...like the guy who dug a headlight out of the trash, or found pictures of early wheel castings...A small "slash" on the badge backing is a tiny detail to overlook if someone doesn't know any better.

Who knows, though - it could be legitimate, and there could be a Z/28. What would it be? Doesn't matter for the purposes of this conversation - I think it'd be awesome, though, given the benchmark of a ZL1 1LE!!...but I am doubtful...lately, the automotive interwebz is far too quick to assume, in my opinion.
