They're not fully finished. They need to be bored again with simulated heads on. The pressure of the heads clamping down will move the bores, so they need to be done again. GM doesn't do it this way, but it's the right way of doing things. The marines need to be line bored too. Nothing can just be bolted in, you need to take it to a machine shop and have everything balanced, even if you just pulled it out of a motor. You'll need new rings too.
Again, what internals are you using? Stuff you have or need to buy?
