The pin should insert up to flared area (close to the black or yellow colored sheath). Next, insert the yellow pin into the pink wire hole. Reattach your bracket to the mirror, slide the mirror back on and done.  |

I did not have to file down my pins. I specified 2010 Camaro when ordered my Invisicord. I guess he gave me proper pin length. I used the Passport 9500xi with a blendmount. The blendmount was a little pricey, but it is a great piece of workmanship and they send you extra screws, an allen key, plastic ties and padding for your fingers for those hot summer days to protect your fingers if you want to remove the RD.
The invsisicord is probably 30 cents for the materials, but I didn't care to try and make one and you gotta pay a man for his work.
