Stay Away from Cars Unlimited of Suffolk, LLC DBA Nesinger Chevy 112
OK, here's my sad story;
I got the call Thursday 7/16/09 that my car was in. I've been after them to sit down with me and redo my receipt which states MSRP at time of delivery with actual numbers so I could get my loan check from the CU. They told me that they did not have the invoice, but to come in on Friday to pick up the car. They have a relationship, through Groove Car with my credit union. They said all the paperwork for my pre-approved loan would be waiting for me to sign and I would drive off upon completion of same. Surprise! You owe us an extra $1200.00 above MSRP (bogus charges added to the "new bill of sale") (stuff like freight and handling,delivery fee,application fee) & tax plus DMV. I argued with my salesman, sales manager and asked to speak with Mr. Nesinger. All to no avail. Long, angry, story short, after buying 3 new cars from this dealership (This was the fourth), they tell me take it or leave it and they will give me back my deposit because they will sell it over the weekend for 3k above sticker with no problem. I took it. Yes, I'm pi$$ed at myself. This is my everyday driver and my other vehicle has been sold for a month. They knew they had me this time. Needless to say, I told them to shove their dealership where the sun don't shine and that I will never set foot in their dealership again. They made an extra $1200.00 , but lost a lifetime customer. Needless to say, this turned what was going to be a very enjoyable day and weekend into $hit. I will never order another car without full numbers and totals in place. I can't wait for GM to call me for the Customer Service Satisfaction Survey. There is a bright side, I did get the car of my dreams. Pluses: My IOM matches nose to tail - no color differences. Lots of room - except headroom (and back seat, of course). I'm 6 ft and I just clear. I'm glad that I did not get the sunroof. I have not gotten above 88 MPH yet and have not gone over 4200 RPMs (I will after 1500 miles), but she is like a caged Lion, I can feel her holding back and wanting to strike. Fit & finish is excellent. No M6 issues yet and have not received the dreaded call from GM. Love the retro gages, steering wheel, leather etc. The connectivity package is great and easy to use. The rearview mirror is not an issue, but I am used to driving Vettes and small roadsters. Love all the lighting in and out - no issues. The sun visors are NOT a problem, but GM did go cheap. No wiggle in rear spoiler. Very small minuses: I wish that they had an interior lock on the gas door and that it was on the driver's side. It seems like there isn't a steering wheel control to change the radio station (unless I haven't found it), Buttons for mute, volume and to change between AM, FM, CD, XM and Aux, but no station or track control on the steering wheel. That's it. Well I guess it was a long story. Sorry! Thanks for reading and stay away from Cars Unlimited on route 112 in Medford Long Island New York.

The button you push to change from AM to Fm is also a thumb scroll to change stations.

That sucks that you had to pay $1,200 over but at least you got your car and didn't have to order from a different dealership, That would have been a unforgettable mistake.

Yea, that's bullshit... Atleast you got your car. Mine is sitting in a lot in Canada and the dealer does not know why it isn't shipping. Or so they say...

Thanks for the feedback.
I did, for a moment, want to tell them to shove it and go get a Caddy CTS or Vette, but I would have just sold it when Camaros were easy to buy off the lot and that would have cost me as well. I just wanted to warn people about a price gouging dealership. They lost my business forever. I do love the car though and got it exactly as I wanted it.

It's a shame that a dealer would throw away a relationship with a long-time customer and all the future business opportunities for a quick buck.
