I had SEVERAL other ideas that were more involved and some stood out a bit more BUT I wanted to largely maintain the 1LE OEM look as well as limit long term durability and low maintenance.
A cut out would have been cool but didnt want all the open corners that would peel up or get damaged when cleaning.
I have visions of doubling the lettering and keeping things symetrical but being that it was covered and black....the subtleness of it would allow it to not be "ricey"
It turned out well
