As others have mentioned, this is the differential clutch pack doing its job....at the wrong time. If it happens, it often occurs when cold, on tight corners...#214 had this issue, but as I understand it - not all ZL1s do. Recommend you head to the dealer for a fluid change.
Ask them to check Technical Service Bulletin's and if it is what I think it is, then they'll cover the change under warranty. It's actually not that big of a deal I'm happy to say.
