SS short throw shifter onfo
Well I have tried stock, Hurst, MGW and Barton Industries shifters and here's how they compare. Stock: low effort, long throw, sloppy. Hurst: slightly higher effort, shorter throw, more direct feel, less sloppy than stock. MGW: slightly more effort than Hurst; shorter throw, less sloppy and more direct feel than Hurst. Barton's: highest effort, shortest throw, least sloppy and most direct feel of all shifters. I have the Barton's, and you can shift with your wrist, but it is a bit high effort. The MGW is a nice overall balance of feel and effort. You can't go wrong with any of the after market shifters.
