Just thought I'd create a place where we can all share any interactions we have with the police officers in and around the San Antonio area relating to our vehicles. This is not intended to be a rant or place to bash on the blue. But if you'd like to post where you've noticed some speed traps, that would be good

I was eating at 46th Street Pizzeria in Bulverda (parked up front) when a couple Comal County Sheriffs pulled up. The female officer walked up, asked if it was my car, and told me she had to arrest me for having a nice car. Turns out she's ordered a victory red 2SSRS with black rally stripes from Freedom, even from the same salesman that I ordered through. So she was jealous that I got mine already and couldn't wait for hers to show up.

She said they've already received the invoice for it, so I'm assuming that means it should be a relatively quick turn-around until she's driving away in her own.

So, hopefully I made some friends in the police force out where I work so maybe I'll get a little leeway

I had a Shertz officer stop and look at mine while at Chili's up on 3009 and 35. Said he didn't know they were out yet and ask me to explain the emblem (red SS) so he would know who to pursue and who not to!

Another time I had a Cibolo officer come up to me at Harman's BBQ as I was getting out to go eat...he said he'd need to test the car out for me to ensure it could handle high speeds!

So far all of them have been pretty cool to me but I'm waiting on the flashing lights in my rear view mirror and the ensuing ticket for no front plate! :(

i got a buddy that is a cop for converse police dept. he's cool. i always get the question how fast. i tell the truth 140.
