2012 SS FE4 Suspension

Who here has driven a pre 2012 SS with an FE3 suspension, and a 2012 SS with the FE4 suspension that can give a description of the differences. I know what the changes are, but would like to know how it feels from someone who has driven both.

The rags say some things, but I trust the SOTP analysis here better.

+1, i'd love to hear this too. From what I understand there are subtle differences but apparently enough to warrant a new suspension code.

I drove the 2010-11 about 3 or 4 times. I just picked up my 2012 SS a few days ago. I was able to feel the difference right away.

It's hard to describe other than saying it's just better.

It felt more planted, less floaty, bits harder into the corners. Just feels more confident.

I'm sure the same or better can be achieved on a 2010-11 with some aftermarket stuff, but I'm glad I got the FE4.

Thanks. That is what I'm looking for.

Other responses?

Please

Yea, suspension tweaks are great, but that steering wheel kills it for me. I'm glad I got a 2011 for that alone.

god the steering wheel debacle never ends...i had a 10' ss and now have a 12' ss...suspension is definitely improved, and for the steering wheel, yes if it said camaro it would be nice..but the feel of the 12 wheel is much nicer for those of us who dont have gorilla hands.

Dont do that, we have one thread and thats enough! Seriously I like the new wheel better. More comfortable and while only about 3/8" smaller in diameter looks and feels smaller then that.
