Saturn Ion Reviews?

If anyone owns a Saturn Ion please let me know if they are any good. I am thinking of buying an 04 Saturn Ion however I'm not sure if its a 1,2,3. Anyone who has had any experience with them please let me know your review of them.

Thanks.

My friend owns one. Haven't heard any complaints from him.

Powertrain-wise, it's a Cobalt. Very good stuff.

I test drove one, and that's all my experience. You'll have to get used to the gauges being in the center instead of behind the wheel, that's the only "bad" thing about it I can say.

There was an optional CV transmission available in 04. Avoid the car if that is the transmission. I drove one and they aren't bad, but they were in production for only a short while. I'd stick with the Auto or manual transmission.

Here is some good information that may help.
