How limited is it? And does my dealer need a special allocation to order one as with a ZL1?

No !! There is a difference between allocation and a constraint.

The 1LE is on constraint. That means the car is buildable
but in limited #'s to start with. Eventually there will be
no constraint and you'll be able to order your Camaro with
the option and have it picked up by the factory -no problem.
Right now, the dealer needs to have the package given
to them to be able to order. There are only 103 for the
nation with week. Next week should be more and then
it will probably go to a non-constraint status.

ZL1 on the other hand..........gotta have the allocation to
even get the order in the system.

FYI, I saw that too and tried to build one but it's still telling me 1LE is not available for order.
