tune out dual mode exhaust?

Well I dont really care for the dual mode exhaust on my Z and I know I can unplug the fuse but will get a ses light. Can my dealer disable this with their programming? Or a tune from my sct tuner the only way?

You do not get a code from pulling the DM fuse.
mine has been out since day 2 from the dealer.

all it does is stop the butterflies from moving it is not tied to the ECU for codes.

or just go with a mild to wild switch.

You should be happy its got a very nice sound to it that other Camaros dont have.

BTW you do not have to pull all the plastic just the little carpet rivet and pull the carpet down.
takes about 20 seconds if you do it that way.
I always put it back in before taking the car back to dealer.

My car has been to the dealer twice, also with the Roto-Fab attached. I pulled the fuse out a week after I had the car and learned how to do it on this forum! I have left it out. The dealer doesn't know or care that you pulled the F8 fuse!

Sweet! I was just going to ask which fuse it was that needed pulled. So, if I do this, I'll get the deeper exhaust tone under idle and under acceleration, right?

It's already deep at idle and under acceleration.

It quiets down at a steady cruise speed to prevent drone.

OH, if it quiets the exhaust down then I'm not pulling the fuse because I like the deeper tone.

No, with the fuse in it quiets down. Pull the fuse and the exhaust stays open all the time
